This week, I was driving past West Hove School at picking up time for the first time since my daughter last attended the school, five years ago.
Nothing has changed with regard to the traffic chaos and gridlock on the zig-zag lines. It makes the Monaco Grand Prix look like a picnic.
Over the years, I've seen many letters in The Argus from numerous councillors proclaiming action will be taken to enforce parking restrictions.
I suggest instead of letting the council grab a few quid by booking motorists who overstay their time by a few seconds in legitimate parking bays, the traffic wardens do something even more useful and start ensuring the safety of our children outside schools by booking people who blatantly ignore safety zones and park on the yellow zig-zags.
