A Sussex man who claims to be an irritating, boring snob has entered the Big Brother house.
Technology geek Eugene Sully, 27, whose parents live at The Paddock, Pound Hill, Crawley, was one of three new house-mates who joined the Channel 4 reality show.
The Terry Wogan fan and self-confessed virgin, was moved to tears as he confessed to the diary room he had not expected to be so isolated.
He said: "I think I've given up quite a lot to come in here. It's not what I thought it would be.
"I feel I've made a fool of myself. People will see me as half-naked, not contributing and I'll get thrown out."
Mr Sully, whose mother Janet Sully has been a West Sussex County Councillor since 1997, entered the house dressed in fig leaf-covered pants.
Eugene works as an engineer and stood as a Labour candidate in the last county council elections.
In his spare time he enjoys throwing televisions and other appliances off cliffs "to record the sound they make."
