The crowds at this special outdoor fundraiser had obviously read the reports about Glastonbury.
Because even though the evening sun encouraged them to wear their summer finest, most also brought along emergency brollies, raincoats and even pairs of wellies.
Thankfully there were no rivers of mud running through the picturesque grounds of Battle Abbey School, although the chilly wind did have most folk huddled under their picnic blankets by the end of the show.
But, even the coldest of breezes couldn't dampen the wonderful spirit conjured by Rolf and his band.
Dressed in loud tropical shirts, they played classic hit after classic hit and had us happily singing along to cheeky songs about swag bags, billabongs and Coolibahs trees.
Students from the school seemed particularly enthusiastic in their support of the Aussie legend, with several young chaps sporting stick-on Rolfy beards and one group of young ladies flexing handpainted wobble boards.
If Glastonbury thought they had the monopoly on singalongs this weekend, they obviously didn't hear our rousing chorus of Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport.
