More than 100 people from a range of religions gathered in Sussex to launch a new venture.
Crawley Interfaith Network began on Saturday with guest speakers including Indarjit Singh from Radio 4's Thought For The Day and Crawley Council's chief executive Michael Coughlin.
The network is designed to celebrate Crawley's faiths and help create an atmosphere of respect, goodwill and understanding.
The new groups will meet regularly to network, provide support and share information.
It will also hold religious, cultural and social gatherings to raise awareness of faith issues in Crawley.
It is supported by Crawley Council's community development team.
