A six-piece Ghanaian-influenced collective who specialise in a fusion of infectious African rhythms and laid-back summer dance grooves. Vocalist and songwriter Kofi Dako leads the way with his crazy medley of a bamboo flute and guitar, whilst his band display jazz, Afro-Cuban, funk, reggae, and Afrobeat influences playing a mix of modern and traditional African instruments. Corn-swillin', ass-kickin country rockabillies from Vancouver who blend original songs with raucous covers of Hank Williams, Screamin' Jay Hawkins and Johnny Cash among others. Their two albums Pappy's Corn Squeezins and The Survival Issue have won them comparisons with the likes of The Sadies, Th' Legendary Shack*Shakers and even good ol' Hank Williams himself.
