"The whole experience is so much more than just another show," says Ali Fletcher of arts and music collective Souwfside. "The whole feeling is supposed to be impromptu and special rather than the cold and impersonal."
The intimate affair involves a bunch of music-makers, songwriters and artists in an interactive show which celebrates the art of songwriting. It is the first of an ongoing series of performances and will feature new material from Zero 7 co-writer and vocalist Sophie Barker - who is about to release acoustic album Earthbound - and Lamb singer Lou Rhodes, also premiering her forthcoming solo debut, Beloved One.
"Lou and Sophie will be performing separate sets but will do something very special together at the end of the evening," says Ali.
There will also be Brighton-themed visuals, DJ Bantaar spinning Northern Soul and plenty of other bits and bobs.
Starts 7pm. Tickets are £8.50 and can only be bought from Rounder Records and Resident. Call 01273 325440 or 01273 606312.
