Most of us can only dream of living such an eventful life that it could be turned into a musical.
Lee Miller was a muse to the world's greatest painters, a model, surrealist and war photographer.
She was a friend to Picasso and lover of Man Ray. Her life spanned 70 years, during which she danced with Charlie Chaplin, took a bath in Hitler's bath tub and witnessed the liberation of Paris.
Six Pictures of Lee Miller takes its inspiration from the life and photographs of a woman who led a truly astounding life.
From her discovery by Conde Nast, owner of Vogue, through to her travels as a correspondent and photographer with the US army in war-torn Europe, Six Pictures... depicts Lee Miller's incredible energy, talent and courage during the most turbulent years of the 20th Century.
The musical has its world premiere at the Minerva Theatre today.
