Chris Adams today called on Sussex Sharks supporters to give his team's new strike bowler a huge Twenty20 Cup welcome.
The Sharks are back in the chase for a last-eight spot after beating Hampshire Hawks by ten runs in a rain-reduced 12-overs affair at Hove last night.
They still need to win at home to Middlesex Crusaders at Hove on Monday to keep their realistic qualification hopes alive.
Their attack that night will feature debutant Pakistani strike bowler Rana Naved.
Last night's derby was a sell-out, though rain appeared to deter some of the 5,800 ticket holders from actually attending.
Sharks will hope to pack the ground on Monday for what looks like being the last home Twenty20 game of the year.
Skipper Adams said: "That's a big game and it's going to be exciting for us to see Rana in action. I don't know what he'll make of Twenty20 but he'll like the crowds.
"We've got to win it against a very strong Middlesex team They have got lots of depth in their batting and some very adaptable players. They will be tough to beat."
The remaining 2,000 tickets for Monday's game will be on sale at the County Ground this morning.
