More than 100 people gathered at the weekend to protest against plans for a sewage farm and an incinerator.
Saturday's demonstration at Telscombe Tye against Southern Water's plan for a sewage farm in Peacehaven was was the third protest in as many weeks and was attended by people from Peacehaven, Saltdean, Rottingdean and Telscombe, who are also against plans for an incinerator planned to be built in Newhaven.
Campaign leader Dave Thomas said: "It is gaining momentum.
"People are ringing up asking what they can do to help and some of the councillors are getting involved as well."
He said members of the campaign would attend Peacehaven Town Council's next full meeting on Tuesday, July 19, to lobby against the sewage farm plan.
