Estate agents in Brighton and Hove are being quizzed about the city as part of a fund-raising challenge in aid of deaf children.
Ovingdean Hall School in Greenways has devised the Great Brighton and Hove Challenge, a quiz about the city's shops, pubs, sport and property.
The challenge, supported by Brighton and Hove Estate Agents' Association and Giles Leisure, combines simple questions with cryptic brain teasers.
A typical question asks: Which steep Brighton Street am I? You can drive in at the top but not drive out at the bottom. You can drive in at the bottom but not drive out at the top.
The top prize will include an hour's free deaf awareness training to help estate agents communicate with their deaf and hard of hearing customers.
Ovingdean Hall headteacher Pauline Hughes said: "Estate agents will have a lot of fun testing their knowledge of Brighton and Hove and there are some really superb prizes donated by local companies.
"With close to nine million hearing impaired people in the UK, the deaf awareness training is a real asset to any office."
