Mark McGhee has got his Albion squad working treble time in the build-up to their Championship campaign.
The Seagulls boss is sending his players out to train three times a day during their four-day stay in France, starting with cross country runs before breakfast.
Albion have been out at work at 7am as they warm up for tomorrow's friendly with Le Havre.
The Seagulls are in Normandy as part of a football in the community programme with Le Havre, France's oldest football club.
Boss McGhee said: "It has been excellent. There has been a fast track for early morning runs and we've used Le Havre's training ground, which has got good surfaces."
After their early morning runs, the players have been put through training sessions in late morning and late afternoon at Le Havre's impressive modern training base.
They have used free time to coach youngsters and there is a civic function planned for tonight.
Albion will ease down their training today and have another session tomorrow before tackling Le Havre, a lowly second division outfit, at nearby non-league ground Gonfreville l'Orcher.
Where possible, players will be limited to 45 minutes each tomorrow as Albion take on a Le Havre side who narrowly escaped relegation last season in one of their worst campaigns for years.
Albion continue their pre-season friendlies at Worthing on Wednesday (7.45), St Albans on Friday (7.45) and Lewes on Sunday (3.00).
