BOND International Software, the Sussex-based software specialist, has unveiled its maiden results as a public company. The company, which has its headquarters in Cowfold, floated on the Alternative Investment Market in December. Pre-tax profits came in at £718,000 on a turnover of £6.4 million, well ahead of expectations. The forecast figures had been £650,000 and £4.32 million respectively. Earnings per share were 3.54p. Managing director Steve Russell said: "The net £1.6 million raised in December's flotation will provide a platform for further expansionthrough organic growth and the acquisition of similar software orientated businesses." In the past six months the group has increased its Sussex workforce by almost 50 per cent and now has offices in Australia, South Africa and the U.S. In 1997 it took over Integra Systems, Sussex-based market leaders in tourism software.
