NEW evidence suggests the feel good factor in Sussex has stabilised.
According to a report out today from the economic forecasting group Business Strategies, people in East and West Sussex and the rest of the South East outside London remain as optimistic about the economic outlook as they were three months ago. Managing economist Jacqui Timothy said: "Optimism in the region now seems to be holding steady after taking a big tumble.Optimists in the region now lead the pessimists by 18 points. The average for the UK is 22 points. Just after the election, a year ago, the lead surged to 27 points. The report says spending on household electrical goods is forecast to be slower in the South East outside London than in Britain as a whole, but total spending will grow faster than the UK rate.
