THE sight of a naked man "waving his bits" was too much for a 22-year-old walking along Brighton seafront in the early hours, Lewes Crown Court heard.
Craig Smith went up to the naked man who had been wrestling with another clothed man in horseplay outside a nightclub and kicked him. Smith, of Cavendish Place, was then chased along the seafront and brought down with a rugby tackle by fellow revellers outside the Coomber nightclub. Smith, unemployed, pleaded guilty to a public order offence and was remanded on bail until May 22. The incident, in April last year, was witnessed by police officers who were about to approach the naked man. Mr Hugh Davies, defending, told the court Smith was a schizophrenic who was nearly illiterate. He said: "Smith was ill equipped to deal with the bizarre incident outside the nightclub where a naked man was fighting with another and then waved his bits at him."
