SEAN LOUCKS has admitted he is tired of giving supporters a "raw deal" as Worthing Bears battle to end their worst-ever losing run.
Bears entertain London Towers tonight knowing they have 14 Budweiser League games remaining to win back some pride after disastrously suffering 25 consecutive defeats.
Loucks, still to experience victory after taking over the reins from Chris Pullem 15 weeks ago, is full of praise for the way the fans have stuck by the team.
He said: "Some people say the crowds have been up and down at Worthing, but to me it seems packed and loud every time.
"No matter how poor we happen to play on that night, the supporters are incredible and I'm just tired of giving them a raw deal. More than anyone the fans deserve wins.
"We're trying to stay positive, we are working as hard as we can and we have Adam McCanna, our new 7ft American centre, here to help us out."
Bears take on Towers having lost heavily twice to them this season, a last occasion by 30 points at Crystal Palace last month, and Loucks promises his men will "fight the good fight".
Worthing have been hit by inconsistent officiating in their last two games against Chester and Thames Valley and Loucks admits: "It's tough when you're up against more than your opponents.
"I've told the team they have to expect that. You've got to step into the game assuming you've only got three fouls.
"If I don't do my best as a coach my team is going to suffer. It the officials don't do their job everybody suffers, both teams and all the fans."
