AN ugly incident marred Albion's battling draw at Swansea last night.
Several fans invaded the Vetch Field pitch after Swansea striker Julian Alsop had been sent off in the 74th minute for a second bookable offence.
Police took statements from Albion defender Michael Bennett and Staffordshire referee Alan Wiley in the dressing rooms after the game.
Inspector Hugh Edwards of Swansea Police said: "Two people were arrested for pitch invasion.
"Following a complaint made by a Brighton player one of the two has also been charged with a further public order offence.
"He will be appearing at Swansea Magistrates Court in due course."
Wiley said he will be reporting the matter to the FA.
