SCUNTHORPE are hoping March won't be so miserable after a faltering February.
Brian Laws' inconsistent promotion chasers took one point and scored only one goal in four games last month.
That has dropped them to sixth, seven places and three points above Albion with a superior scoring record and two games in hand.
Scunthorpe welcome back big centre forward John Gayle tomorrow after a six-week absence with a knee injury.
The goals have dried up for the prolific Jamie Forrester while Gayle has been missing.
Darryn Stamp, who sent Albion packing with a double in a 3-1 win at Gillingham in September, was only on the bench at Mansfield last Saturday alongside former Seagulls loan signing Garry Bull.
Scunthorpe also have ex-Millwall central defender Tony Witter back from suspension tomorrow.
He has played well in two matches since moving north on a non-contract basis from Conference strugglers Welling.
DANGER MAN
JAMIE Forrester is the joint top scorer in the Third Division with 15 goals.
The pint-sized former Leeds player raised his overall tally to 18 by finding the net for the first time in seven games at Mansfield last Saturday.
FLASHBACK
ALBION beat Scunthorpe 2-0 in the corresponding fixture last season.
Stuart Storer, who is suspended and injured tomorrow, opened the scoring and substitute Darragh Ryan sealed a shock victory for the Seagulls on his away debut.
