Albion director Martin Perry said: "Security is an issue for Ecovert, not us. We will have to make sure that the security Ecovert provides is adequate."
No one from Ecovert South, which manages the stadium for Brighton and Hove Council, was available for comment.
Mr Perry said Albion had spent about £750,000 so far on transforming the stadium into their temporary home and about half of the work had been done.
A new car park is available for people using the stadium's sports facilities.

Mr Perry said: "It's now geared for everything to be completed by the middle of July."
