A MAN was arrested after a girl's drink was laced with a an unknown substance at a Brighton club.
Police said she was in the Paradox in Brighton's West Street last night when she noticed her drink frothing.
Police have received reports of men dropping the so-called date-rape drug Rohypnol into girls' drinks in the town.
Rohypnol, a hypnotic sleeping pill only available on private prescription, sends the taker to sleep for several hours.
The girl involved in last night's incident did not drink any of the liquid and police were called.
Aman was taken to the John Street station for questioning.
The girl's glass was taken away for tests.
