TELEVISION star Nicholas Lyndhurst is to marry his girlfriend, Lucy Smith, in Sussex in September.
And the clergyman who is to perform the ceremony said today: "I will be treating them as I would any other couple."
The publicity-shy Only Fools and Horses star has a luxury home in West Wittering, near Chichester, and is believed to have asked for a simple, traditional service.
The Rev John Williams, of St James Church in nearby Birdham, said: "I have met Nicholas and he is a nice chap.
"But I have got 17 weddings in total this year and will not be treating this one any differently."
It will the second big show business wedding for Mr Williams. Last year he was on hand to bless the marriage of Rolling Stone Keith Richards's daughter Angela in the garden of the rock star's home in West Wittering.
