POLICE swooped on a railway station this morning after a man pulled
a knife on a guard after being told to leave a
train.
The man was told to leave the service at Christ's Hospital Station, near Horsham, just after 10am, but pulled a knife on the guard and got back on the train.
Police were concerned for the safety of passengers and the lone guard on the train, which was bound for Arundel.
Rail officials called the police, who went to Littlehampton and Arundel stations to check if the man was on board just after 11am.
British Transport Police are still investigating.
