Daniel Marney hit a hat-trick as Albion trounced Yeovil 5-0 at Bognor last night.

The shell-shocked visitors were reduced to nine men and had manager Stuart Housley ordered from the bench in a two- minute spell around the half hour.

Referee John Cross stopped play for several minutes and summoned Yeovil's secretary from the stand after an ice cube was allegedly thrown on to the pitch.

Albion, missing seven regulars because of injuries and competition age rules, went in front on three minutes.

Outstanding 16-year-old full-back Mark Jackson evaded Yeovil's defence on Albion's left, crossing for Chris McPhee to net with a spectacular overhead kick.

Albion doubled their advantage eight minutes later when Shaun Wilkinson looped a header into the far corner.

Yeovil striker Gareth Risbridge was dismissed on 30 minutes for a second bookable offence and all hell broke loose when Ian Harris followed two minutes later.

Harris was taken to hospital for an x-ray after injuring himself in the dressing room.

Marney made it 3-0 in first-half stoppage time.

The striker added his second on 65 minutes and completed his hat-trick with a penalty eight minutes later, but was lucky to escape with only a booking on 85 minutes following a bad foul.
