1-0 home victory Corby Town, in an Eastern Division clash in which both sides finished with ten men.
Saints' best defensive effort of the season earned their first clean sheet and a late goal was enough for all three points. St Leonard's manager Andy Thomson said: "It was a battling performance against a tough side and the result was the important thing."
Corby's big side began the game on top and were denied the opener only by a goalline clearance from Chris Stonham.
But Saints stuck to their task and created a few chances before Carleton Shatelier reacted to a nasty, 63rd-minute tackle from Richard Tuffey and both were dismissed.
But three minutes later a flowing move finished with Miles firing a 30-yard screamer and St Leonards hung on for the win.
