BRIGHTON'S high-flyers are fastening their seat belts for a roller coaster month in league and cup.
Ian Watkins' table-toppers go to Chichester in rugby's London Three South East today.
It's the start of a crucial run of games which also includes league battles with Worthing and Cranbrook plus the cup trip to Eastbourne.
Front row men Paul Britton and Mark Jenkins will be part of it after jetting in yesterday from North America.
But Jenkins will have to settle for a place on the bench as Tudor Ellis is given a chance at hooker.
Chi also make a change at No 2 with Justin Powell ruled out. Sussex cap Simon Bradford and Nick Stanton return at half back.
Brighton have trained five times over the festive period and coach Ian Watkins said: "We've worked them hard.
"It's a big month for us but we can't look beyond Chichester because any mid-table side in this league can be dangerous."
Meanwhile title rivals Worthing need to win at home to fading Dartfordians to keep their bid alive.
Impoving Crawley have signed scrum half Andy Jenn, who has been released by Sale. But Jenn starts on the bench at Beccehamians with Paul Jones' good form ensuring he keeps the No 9 shirt.
Flanker Alan Maybank has a calf injury so Mark Rigby is called up.
Heathfield coach Tony Bond, who missed the festive workout against Sevenoaks, returns to the helm for the only Sussex derby in the division as his side go to East Grinstead.
Haywards Heath skipper Henry Goodburn misses the Two South trip to Sevenoaks with a back injury.
Andy Cook, who has recovered from a knee problem, takes his place on the wing while Owen Ashton continues at full back.
Young Tom Izod will make his league debut in the centre if Giles goodburn fails to recover from flu in time.
Sevenoaks, who include former Heath flanker Jarrod Hastings, lost to Dorking recently.
