SOUTHWICK manager Roger Brace has resigned following a disagreement with the club's managing director.
It is understood that Brace quit after being told his two assistants were being replaced by a new No.2, club stalwart Malcolm Saunders.
Brace, who has been in charge for three years at Old Barn Way, said: "Barry (Noonan) wanted to make a change within the management team which didn't affect me or my position. I felt that was inappropriate, so we agreed to differ and I have taken a step back, which disappoints me greatly."
Managing director Barry Noonan said: "There were certain things that were happening which I wasn't happy with and Roger was not happy to make the changes I wanted to see but I am sorry to see him go."
Brace will remain as a director of the limited company for the time being. Saunders, meanwhile, has been placed in temporary charge but the position is being advertised.
