HastinGS Town completed their first double of the season with a comfortable 3-1 win that takes them up to fifth in the Dr Martens League Eastern Division.

Two second-half Terry White penalties capped a fine display by Town following a goalless first half.

The visitors took the lead on 50 minutes when Danny Simmonds saw his shot pushed away by Geoff Sim but Shaun Loft netted.

Two minutes later a backpass by Stuart Playford was picked up by Martin Beck, who levelled.

But White then converted two penalties in a three-minute spell to give Town the points.

Loft was brought down in the 61st minute for the first, and two minutes later Paul Jones was fouled.
