Andy Crosby says Albion must topple his home town club Rotherham again to keep their play-off hopes alive.
The big central defender believes it's win or bust for the Seagulls at Withdean on Saturday against the team he used to support. Crosby made a nostalgic return to Millmoor in Albion's 3-1 triumph just after Christmas.
"I was born there and when I was 11 I was at the Centre of Excellence, but I went to Leeds as a schoolboy," he said. "I supported them when the manager now, Ronnie Moore, was a player and they won the old Fourth Division in 1980-81. I've seen some good games at Millmoor and there were a few shouts when I played up there, but nothing much.
Albion, unbeaten for nine matches, are aiming for a repeat performance in Saturday's sell-out showdown. "It's going to be difficult," Crosby said. "They have not won for a few and we need to take the game to them. We have got to be positive and start better than we have been. It was disappointing at Exeter last Saturday. We didn't get going until the last 15 minutes.
Albion's reserves face Wycombe Wanderers in the Avon Insurance Combination League at Nyewood Lane, Bognor, tonight (7.30pm). Tickets for the Seagulls' last away game at Shrewsbury on April 29 are on sale now, not from next Tuesday as reported in yesterday's Argus
