Albion manager Micky Adams is determined to have a say in Third Division promotion and relegation battles.

The Seagulls' hopes of a play-off place have evaporated, but they can influence who goes up and down and Adams has pledged there will be no let-up from his side in an intriguing final three fixtures.

Peterborough know a first win in four meetings with Albion this season at Withdean tomorrow night will catapult them into the third automatic promotion spot.

The last away match for Adams' men is at Shrewsbury on Saturday. They slipped to the bottom yesterday with a2-1 defeat at Halifax.

Albion then close their campaign at home to next-to-bottom Carlisle on Saturday week. The Cumbrians are just a point above Shrewsbury after losing at Southend yesterday.

Adams said: "Peterborough are pushing for a spot, so it's game on. The good thing from our point of view is that the three games we have left involve either promotion or relegation, which gives us something to play for.

"Anybody who knows me knows I certainly won't let our season just fizzle out. We want to keep our unbeaten run going."

Albion, undefeated for 11 matches, have slipped back down a place to 13th following Torquay's home victory yesterday against Macclesfield.
