Gareth Brown won the Monday Walk at Steyning in 1hr 59min 55sec.
Veteran John Killick was second in 2:22.52, while another veteran, Richard Gurd, took third place in 2:35.01.
Gill Trower was the first woman home, finishing fifth in 2:36.56.
Brown had been forced to retire from the Eight Nations 20k at Leamington after six kilometres, but Steyning's Matthew Hales was third Briton home and 20th overall in 1:31.55.
Steyning women Niobe Menendez and Sally Warren finished their race in 1:45.48 and 1:52.25, the latter being a personal best.
In the men's 50k, Crawley's Chris Cheeseman had a top ten finish in 4:17.57, while Steyning's Tim Watt was 11th in 4:23.25.
Darrell Stone, another Steyning Walker, was disqualified one kilometre from home.
