A MAN appeared in court yesterday charged with raping two women.
Paul Reynolds, 35, of no fixed address, spoke only to confirm his name during a brief hearing at Brighton Magistrates' Court.
He is charged with raping a woman in the grounds of Aldrington Day Hospital, New Church Road, Hove, during
millennium celebrations in the early hours of
January 1.
Reynolds is also charged with raping a woman in New Steine, Brighton, in February 1998.
Stipendiary magistrate Paul Tain remanded Reynolds in custody until Wednesday.
