Sammy Donnelly can't wait for another crack at promotion with his Worthing squad.
The Rebels boss saw Ryman League premier division football slip away on Wednesday night when rivals Maidenhead beat Romford 4-0 to move into the top three.
But Worthing can clinch a top six place by beating Whyteleafe at Woodside Road tomorrow and Donnelly insisted: "All I'm concerned about is looking forward. The summer is going to be my busiest period and I can't wait to start again. We will work doubly hard to bring in new signings and strengthen the squad."
Donnelly has already targeted a handful of new players and is waiting to hear whether former Albion striker David Cameron will be on board for the new campaign. Rebels have also secured pre-season friendlies with Albion, QPR and Fulham.
