I totally agree with Becky Wood about petrol costs and how the disabled are never taken into consideration when pricing decisions are made (Opinion, July 11).

I'm disabled and when I first owed a Motability vehicle I was able to put at least £10 to £15 into the tank every week. Now I struggle to find £5.

As a result, I suffer physically when I can't use the car and financially when I do. I'm sure other disabled people experience this as well.

Tony Blair should listen to disabled people more often. How about this suggestion: We are already exempt from paying road tax - how about exempting the disabled from paying tax on petrol as well?
