I was very pleased to see Chris Chandler dampen the effects of the Argus story regarding the two straight people asked to leave a gay nightclub for kissing (Argus, July 7).
Many people may be wondering what all the fuss was about and why two people were expelled from a club for kissing, considering the Victorian era ended some years ago!
The couple asked to leave were not just kissing, but, according to witnesses, were performing a surgical procedure involving the use of tongues and tonsils!
They had already been asked to either move to a less congested area or to stop kissing. They were dealt with in the same way a gay couple would have been. Discrimination is not tolerated at Revenge which is why such a wide section of the community feel relaxed in using the club.
