New Albion goalkeeper Michels Kuipers makes his debut against Worthing in a friendly at Woodside Road tonight.
The Dutch stopper, 26, will share the gloves with young rival Will Packham for a half as manager Micky Adams plans to give his entire squad a run-out.
Albion's manager has stated he is prepared to give both keepers an opportunity to establish themselves in the No.1 spot following the shock departure of first choice Mark Walton to Cardiff earlier this month, even though they've got just one league appearance between them.
Adams said: "I'm not in a great rush at the minute to bring someone in. The chance is there. Both players will get 45 minutes each at Worthing."
Kuipers, signed from Bristol Rovers, said: "Confidence is a very important thing in football and if the manager shows he has got confidence in you, it gives you an extra boost.
"I'm really looking forward to my first game. Everybody can start to know each other on the pitch. I won't get nervous, I'll just focus on the game."
Packham, 19 and from Hove, has come through the youth team and is ready to take up the challenge.
He said: "All I've got to do now is take my chance, to show what I can do and show the manager he doesn't need another keeper."
Adams said: "I suppose everybody is making a lot out of the goalkeeping situation because of the departure of Mark Walton. Michels is older, with more experience than Will, but he has only played one league game, so they are not too far apart.
"Even if Mark Walton had gone, I wouldn't have said he'd have been my first choice. There's competition for places.
"But I don't want them (Michels and Will) worrying about games, particularly pre-season."
Adams includes triallists Steve Melton, from Nottingham Forest, and former Horsham YMCA striker Matt Russell .
Kickoff time is 7.45 p.m.
