Rye regained top spot in division one of the East Sussex Cricket League after a thrilling victory over Herstmonceux.
A roller-coaster game saw Rye slump from 125-2 to 144 all out, with Nigel Hacking scoring 56 and Ally Russell 39 before Graham Bennett (6-42) and Paul Walker (3-38) ripped in.
In reply, Herstmonceux crumbled to 23-4 before Andy Standen (57) and Andy Samuel (32 not out) put on 99 for the fifth wicket to put the visitors in sight of victory.
However, a superb one- handed catch by Matt Cooke brought about the downfall of Standen and led to a collapse with 'Ceux being dismissed five runs short of victory on 140. Martin Blincow took 6-50 and Raj Ghosh 3-6.
Ringmer, who led the table at the start of play, held on for a draw at Boards.
James Wise (66 not out) and Terry Penfold (58) helped Boards amass 204-7, which proved too much for Ringmer who closed on 160-7 with Simon Pugh scoring 49 as Mark Underhill took 5-36.
An exciting game at Ditchling saw the hosts make 209-6 with Patrick Nolan hitting 46 and Ollie Burns 41.

Both of the bottom sides won. Seaford recovered from 50-5 to overhaul Chiddingly's total of 205-8 thanks to a superb unbroken partnership of 156 between experienced Dave Stanyard (48 not out) and teenager Will Hopkins (69 not out).
Earlier, John Grieveson had scored 106 for Chiddingly, who were missing four key players.
Richard Dale hit 47 as St Peters totalled 166 all out and that was enough to beat Fletching, who were dismissed for 139 with Chris Pickett claiming 5-42 and Harry Birmingham 3-30.
The efforts of Terry Lucas (45 and 4-29) proved in vain for Fletching.
West Indian Victor Walcott was again the star as Crowhurst Park claimed another thumping victory in division two.
Walcott scored 81 not out, adding 154 for the seventh wicket with skipper Michael Legg (69 not out), as Park posted 235-6 and he then took 5-21 as Tunbridge Wells Borderers were dismissed for 120 in reply.
Walcott now has 51 league wickets in 12 matches.
David White (129) scored his second consecutive century on Iden's 247-9, with Chris Curd adding 50 while Keith Hunter took 5-46.
However, Iden had to settle for a draw as promotion rivals Barcombe made 210-7 in reply with Keith Savage scoring 70.
Wadhurst moved into second place after a seven- wicket triumph at Polegate & Stone Cross.
Bob Mayfield (63) and Rob Warner (58) helped the hosts reach 198-8 but Geoff Teys (82 not out), David Brignell (42) and Mark Godsalve (38 not out) eased Wadhurst to their target.
An unbeaten century from Patrick Garda (100 not out), plus 67 from Adrian West, helped Battle to a six-wicket success at home to Lewes St Michael's.
