Crawley defender Jay Lovett has signed for second division Brentford.
The 22 year-old full back from Brighton agreed a three-year contract after talks with Bees' boss Ron Noades at Broadfield Stadium on Tuesday.
Lovett began his career with Plymouth, dropped out of the professional ranks in 1997 then had a spell with Saltdean before joining Reds last season.
Crawley boss Billy Smith said: "He played against them last week and really impressed.
"He's definitely got a chance at that level because he's quick and has two good feet. It's good news for him and good business for the club as well."
