A Hailsham charity worker who delivers reconditioned computers to some of the most impoverished parts of the globe is planning to give his charity a boost with a website.
The site will play a part in efforts to create a Computer Aid campaign similar to Bob Gedolf's famous Band Aid appeal.
Simon Rooksby, chairman of Computers for Charities, said: "We're looking at the possibility of getting someone like Richard Branson to give us backing."
He hopes to start lobbying celebrities early next year after the website is set up.
It will encourage companies to donate computer equipment and tell potential recipients how to apply.
The website will be built by Brighton firm Bulletproof Multimedia.
