Two of Brighton's leading printer firms have come together to create one of the most versatile print firms along the South Coast.
Digital print specialist XPS, based on the Portslade Business Park, has formed a subsidiary, XPS.Colour, which has acquired the business of Richmond Road-based Ampasand.
The move doubles the colour digital capacity of XPS and expands its range of services to include offset litho and large-format printing as well as a skilled artwork facility.
XPS managing director Graham Nicholas said: "We have always been at the cutting edge of digital printing.
"The launch of XPS.Colour significantly increases our skills and technology base.
"I'm very excited about the future of XPS, which I believe offers an unrivalled combination of technology and expertise."
XPS currently employs 24 people and XPS.Colour 12.
Earlier this year, XPS bought the business of B&H Reprographics in Bond Street, Brighton.
