Brighton new media firm diarymanager.com has landed a deal with mobile data giant iTouch.
Ordinary mobile phone users will soon be able to get reminders of birthdays, anniversaries and meetings sent as SMS text messages to their phones as a result of the deal.
Those with WAP phones will be able to make changes to their diary on the move.
Jonny Shipp, principal director at diarymanager.com, said: "This service will be invaluable to busy people who need help with the daily process of organising their personal and working lives.
"We look to add serious value to our partners' core services."
Hugh Griffiths, managing director of iTouch, said: "We chose diarymanager.com to provide the iTouch organiser because they are the internet calender experts.
"It is estimated online diaries will be one of the top five uses of the WAP phone."
diarymanager.com will soon be available through NTL's digital television service.
The service will be one of just 40 sites offered by the cable firm.
