I saw two men taking hard drugs in the street and dialled 999 to report it.
Then another man joined them and drug dealing took place. I again rang 999 only to be told off for making a non-emergency call. It was some 20 minutes later before I got a call from the police asking me if they were still there.
What is going on in Brighton when this can happen at 10.20am and there aren't any police available to respond? This was within a five-minute walk from the police station.
No wonder there is so much crime.
