Tony Hawk's Skateboarding is a disappointing conversion of PlayStation's top-selling title as there is little difference between the two.
Developers do not appear to have made the most of the Dreamcast's superior powers.
But despite the similarity between versions, this remains a highly addictive game.
The aim is to progress through various urban U.S. locations showing off your board skills.
The levels are huge and with a two-player option there's hours of gameplay.
The controls in the game are picked up with ease but the flashy tricks can be frustrating to master.
Although slightly let down by sub-standard graphics, the thrilling gameplay makes this a must-have and shows looks aren't everything.
Pain-free skateboarding is fantastic!
