I lost my grey cat, Mouse, from Hangleton more than six weeks ago and am amazed at how many cats go missing each week. Every time I read the Argus or Friday Ad, someone, somewhere is appealing for information on a lost cat. Often these cats get locked in places or just stray from familiar surroundings and cannot find their way home.
Can I ask anyone who has seen a stray cat, or who is feeding one - whether it is wearing a collar or not - to contact the RSPCA or other cat welfare organisations and vets, as they all have a lost and found register. Alternatively, look in pet shop and sweet shop windows for lost and found cards. It just might help reunite people like me with a much-loved pet. Thank you.
