I recentely caught the number 6 bus service to Mile Oak from Brighton Station.
The journey went as normal until we reached Boundary Road where it turned off, finally arriving at Southwick Square.
When I inquired why we were at Southwick Square instead of Mile Oak, I was cheerily told the bus had turned into a number 49, which terminated at Churchill Square. I asked why the passengers were not informed of this, but was met with a blank stare.
I was then faced with a walk from Southwick Square to Mile Oak which, after a ten-hour working day, did not make me very happy. Is this guess the destination game something new the bus service has introduced?
