Micky Adams last night blasted the FA decision to turn down Albion's appeal against Andy Crosby's three-match ban.
Crosby was sent off during the 2-1 victory over Rochdale two weeks ago. Seagulls manager Adams said: "I'm bitterly dis-appointed. The video evidence showed it was not a very serious offence and marginal as to whether it was even worth a booking.
"Obviously it shows little clubs are not being protected while you see Premiership referees and stars protected.
"If I was Arsene Wenger or Gerard Houllier I'd have been looked at differently."
Crosby begins his suspension at Millwall on Tuesday.
