British Telecom's meanness knows no bounds. My monthly bill showed an absence of my usual low user discount. On closer examination, I saw my calls had exceeded the limit by two pence.
I telephoned to ask if there had been an error. After making me wait for six minutes, I was eventually told there was nothing they could do.
I wonder if BT's chiefs could exist on £8 a day, as I have to. If they're hard up, I suggest they drop their proposed merger with the American group.
