When are Sussex councils going to do something about the appalling service we receive from our local police force? We are told there is nothing they can do about the litter and noise made by illegally-camped travellers. They tell us they will not act on reports of petty crime if it involves less than £300.
Sussex schools and other premises are frequently burnt down but the police tell us, the public, to be more vigilant and step up patrols!
Nobody is safe if alone or out at night. Some residents are regularly harassed in their own homes.
How about a countywide campaign to withhold £50 a year from our council tax bills until we get the protection we are being charged for?
