I don't care whether Wendy Taylor gets BSE (Opinion, September 9) . It's the animal's welfare that concerns me, which is why I try to convince people not to eat meat. All farm animals suffer, most are not allowed any freedom, are force fed to promote growth and are only allowed to live for a few short months before being slaughtered.
