Staff from Sussex companies will be deserting their desks to help communities in a unique campaign happening throughout October.
Charitable organisation One Brighton & Hove is looking for firms to join it in a series of short, one-off volunteering opportunities.
These are aimed at letting people see what a few hours' work can do to help the community.
Every day during October there will be a project which teams or individuals can take part in to really make a difference.
They are listed in a calendar compiled by organisers Business Community Partnership.
Lynne Richards, director of the partnership, said: "Get those wellies on and arm yourselves with a paint brush as October is nearly here.
"We have had an amazing response from employers in Brighton and Hove who want to take part in this challenging event.
"If any other companies would like to get involved, they need to ring us as soon as possible.
"The projects are being snapped up fast."
Schemes cover gardening, education, environment, clean-ups, IT and more.
Examples include:
On Tuesday, October 3, 20 volunteers are needed to build raised beds for disabled people at the the Care Coops Community Farm.
On Friday, October 20, up to six people are wanted to help with painting and decorating a room at the Young Person's Centre.
On, Friday, October 27, up to ten people are required to help with a facelift for the Brighton Youth Centre.
There are various dates set aside to help Mosaic, a black and mixed parentage group which organises activities for its 700-plus strong membership.
It has an several projects for groups of up to three people.
The National Trust has scrub bashing and clearance work on Sunday, October 15, and Tuesday, October 24.
The Wood Recycling Project has storage problems - three teams of 20 are needed to create a space for recycled wood on October 7, 10 and 12.
The teams which have taken part in similar activities in the past have thanked their employers for putting social responsibility on the agenda.
