Why does Adam Trimingham allow himself to be called The Sage of Sussex? This is as preposterous as Woodrow Wyatt's being called The Voice of Reason.
Certainly, his description of the joys of cycling along an empty coast road (Argus, September 14) sits oddly with his enthusiasm for turning the King Alfred sports centre into something which will increase traffic, thus taking a toll upon his lungs.
Let us not forget Mr Trimingham recently wrote of "the people who came to Hove to die and then forgot what they came for." This slur upon the heroic misery of Alzheimer sufferers will surely return to haunt him.
