Five penalties, eight goals, a feast of action and at last Bognor record a victory as they beat Harlow Town 5-3 at Nyewood Lane.
Gordon Guile put Harlow ahead on seven minutes but Nicky Wyatt levelled on nine minutes.
Bognor took the lead in the 23rd minute through Matt Russell but two Marvin Samuel penalties in three minutes put Harlow in control.
Then came a spell of three penalties for Bognor with David Wright bagging a hat-trick from the spot.
Horsham failed to score for the first time this season as they fell to a shock 1-0 defeat at bottom-placed Cheshunt.
The first half was a grim affair as Horsham played all of the football, but created few openings.
Gavin Geddes came closest to scoring but a goal by Ergan Dosdogru gave Cheshunt the victory as he fired the winner six minutes after the interval.
It was Cheshunt's first League goal of the season.
